Wells, Maine was incorporated in 1653 as the third town in Maine. In addition to being the antique capital of Maine (Over 25 shops in a 2.3 mile stretch!) Wells is home to 3 main beaches,
Moody, Drakes Island and Wells Beach. The town beckons to those who love the coast! Home to
the Rachel Carson Natural Wildlife Center, Wells offers plenty of interest to the out door
enthusiast. There are currently 10 campgrounds/recreational vehicle parks in Wells alone!
Close to Kennebunk, Kennebunkport, Ogunquit and York, Maine, Wells is centrally located and has a large amount of hotels, motels and restaurants for your enjoyment. Some of the best surf and turf
around can be had at the Wells Steakhouse! Plenty of places exist to satisfy your quest for that juicy lobster dinner you are craving too!
